If you are over 65

If you are over 65 and have trouble getting around, or you don’t have access to public transport, Peppercorn Community Transport can provide transport where the cost is subsidised by the Commonwealth Government under the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

Please call My Aged Care 1800 200 422 for your initial assessment and ask to be referred to Peppercorn Community Transport.

If you are under 65

If you are under 65, we can offer community transport if you are assessed as “transport disadvantaged.” This means you might live in a rural or isolated area, you may not have access to a car, you may not be able to get to public transport, or public transport can’t get you to your destination when you need to be there.  This funding is provided under the NSW Government under the Community Transport Program.

For Hospital Treatments

You may also qualify for special NSW Health Transport funding to access hospital, cancer or renal & dialysis treatments.  Please call us for more information.
